Thank you to the following sponsors:
I've installed Swami 2.0 & can't wait to get started making programs... But whenever I try to import WAV files (have tried many different combinations of 44.1/16bit/bigendian etc) I get this message in my terminal: (swami:12138): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: value "((IpatchSndFileFormat) 0)" of type `IpatchSndFileFormat' is invalid or out of range for property `file-format' of type `IpatchSndFileFormat'(swami:12138): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: value "0" of type `gint' is invalid or out of range for property `sample-rate' of type `gint'(swami:12138): libInstPatch-CRITICAL **: ipatch_sample_store_cache_open: assertion `IPATCH_IS_SAMPLE_STORE_CACHE (store)' failed This happens with any WAV file I try & I have tried many. The sample is then listed in Swami but creates no actual sound in fluidsynth & has a blank waveform. If I open a .sf2 file then it works fine - I get sound and visible waveforms etc. FYI the same message happens when I use the libinstpatch/examples/create_sf2 program If it helps any the reason I went looking for a sample program editor was because both lmms and hydrogen couldn't import sample files on my system without segfaulting. I wonder if it's the same problem. Any help you can give would be appreciated! Swami looks awesome - powerful yet simple. If I can get it working it might be one of those programs I use every day. Many thanks, Rob
